The Westchester/Putnam Youth Symphony is a unique opportunity for you to enhance your musical experience by rehearsing and performing with students from other school districts throughout Westchester and Putnam counties in New York State. You'll also have the opportunity to perform with professional guest soloists.
2012 - 2013 School Year
Auditions:
Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10am - 2pm.

Audition Requirements:
Primaire Players - Experience reading music
Junior Symphony - NYSSMA Level 2 solo or higher, must be in Grades 6-9
Senior Symphony - NYSSMA Level 4 solo or higher, must be in Grades 9-12
Jazz Band - NYSSMA Level 4 solo or higher, must be in Grades 8-12
Audition will consist of:
- two scales
- a solo you are comfortable with
- a small sight reading selection
